Project Description
This construction project will
widen John Sims Parkway to six lanes from
southwest of Government Avenue to east of
Bayshore Drive. The $12.6 million project
will be constructed in three phases.

Phase 1
-
Construct three stormwater
retention ponds.

Install temporary asphalt
pavement for cross-overs that will be needed
in subsequent construction phases.

Install new traffic signals.

Widen the westbound side of
John Sims Parkway.
